Pine Break Camp is unique as it is a wild camp & car campsite. The wild camp area is just a few hundred yards away from the parking & car camp location. Your parking, car camping & access points are the same. All three locations are located at the dead-end of FS RD 206. The road is hard-bottomed, with 8 big water puddles/light mud holes covering the road when I last visited. I did not need 4WD, but 4WD/AWD may be needed anytime if conditions worsen. You can Car Camp right at the dead-end parking area or choose to wild camp further down. The hike-in is very easy as you will utilize an old logging road (dead-end of FS RD 206. The Terrain navigation is relatively flat, with a short walk through a mature pine forest. Pine Break Camp has a difficulty rating of "Easy."

The campsite can accommodate up to 2 -3 shelters and many hammocks. The hike-in from the parking point to the wild campsite center is 253 yards. The water source is a small flowing drainage from Valentine Creek. The hike to your water source takes you down a portion of the WAT which is approx. 865 yards away. Waypoint coordinates and location bearings are included in the Wild Camp Report.
