Homochitto Hideout Camp is great for Wild Camping & can also be "Car Camped" with a "Moderate" difficulty rating with the best area to park your vehicle  (5-7) out of all the Wild Camp locations. Parking is on FSRD 101C in 3 different locations. The site is generally flat & can be a bit wet due to its proximity to the Creek & Heavy Rainfall. The Woodland/Timber conditions are Streamside Bottomland Hardwoods at a lower elevation with minimal understory on the edge of a sloping ridgeline, giving way to a managed Loblolly Pine Timber Stand (Habitat Diversity/Edge Effect).

The Site is outstanding for a larger group to camp - it can accommodate up to 12+. The Hike is just shy of 800 yards (one way). Downhill Travel ingress to Camp, Uphill  Travel egress from Camp. Waypoint coordinates and location bearings are included in the Wild Camp Report.
