*MISSISSIPPI* - HOMOCHITTO NATIONAL FOREST

Creek Mound Wild Camp is a great "Beginner" Camp with an "Easy" difficulty rating consisting of hilly upland mixed hardwood & pine stands. There is a decent area for parking when dry, which could be an issue when wet. The total distance from Starting Point to Wild Camp is 400 yards. (one way).

Small "Berm" entrance to the trail - The trail to the campsite is somewhat grassy and overgrown but still adequate to determine the direction of travel. This Wild Camp Site can accommodate 2-3 tent/hammock shelters. It is gently rolling Downhill Travel to Camp, Uphill Travel leaving Camp.
