*MISSISSIPPI* - HOMOCHITTO NATIONAL FOREST

Twin Oak Wild Camp has a "Challenging" difficulty rating consisting of hilly upland mixed hardwood & pine stands and is genuinely a "Wild" Hike. There is an adequate area for parking at the Forest Service Road Gate (green). I suggest parking on either side of the road to park - do not block. The "off-trail" hike is very brushy up on the hills as you traverse to Wild Camp. You can stay true to your coordinate navigation routing and be ok. The total distance to Wild Camp is just over 900 yards from gate. 

This Wild Campsite can accommodate 4-5 tent/hammock shelters with two giant White Oak "Twins" towering at Site Center, gently rolling Downhill Travel to Camp, and Uphill Travel leaving Camp.
