Clear Springs Camp is a great "Beginner" Camp & has an "Easy" difficulty rating with adequate parking for 2 vehicles just off of FSRD 124 in front of the green gate. The area is gently rolling with a very short hike into camp. The campsite area is near Clear Springs Recreation Area & Campground, making this a safe wild camp location should you need safety or an exit from the wild camp. The Woodland/Timber conditions are Mixed Upland Pine/Hardwoods with minimal understory for Hiking. The hiking trail behind Forest Service Gate (Parking Spot Area) is easily interpreted & gives way to the Starting point off-trail, which are 2-hardwood trees marked with the slash scar.  There is also Creek access, a short distance from Wild Camp Center.

The Site is outstanding for beginners - can accommodate up to 3-4 shelters. The Hike is just shy of 300 yards (one way). Downhill Travel ingress to Camp, Uphill  Travel egress from Camp. Waypoint coordinates and location bearings are included in the Wild Camp Report.
