Long Branch Hideout Camp is a unique "Beginner" Camp and has low hiking mileage & creekside access. The Campsite Center is nestled in a mature hardwoods nook along the creek. It has an "Easy" difficulty rating due to following a well worn traill all the way in. Parking is accessible on/at FSRD 160B off of FSRD 160A.  The hike-in is mostly upland pine timber mixed with some savannah grass sections. The water source is Long Branch, which runs East & West through the Homochitto National Forest.

It can accommodate up to 3-4 shelters. The Hike is approx. 834 yards to Wild Camp Center from the starting point. Waypoint coordinates and location bearings are included in the Wild Camp Report.
