Strong Creek Camp is another excellent spot nestled close to a serene creek. The Campsite Center is nestled in the mature hardwoods along the creek. It has an "Easy" difficulty rating due to following a trail to a gas line ROW to the starting point. There is excellent parking at this site for up to 3+ vehicles. This camp's parking Area (#1) is at the end of Forest Service Road 159. There is an alternate (closer) parking area (#2) at the Pipeline ROW, in which you will need 4-WD to make this stretch. If you can reach this point, you are parking at the Starting Point to enter the woods trek to Camp Center. The water source is Strong Creek which runs East/West through the Homochitto National Forest.

It can accommodate up to 4-5 shelters. The Hike is 725 yards from Parking Area #1 & 440 yards from Parking Area #2 (Gas-line ROW) to Wild Camp Center.
